Mitch Dobrowner - "Road"
1. This is a black and white photograph of a road and a stormy sky with lightening.
2. I believe the photographer intended to create a dark and mysterious effect with this photograph.
3. The photographer has created an emphasis on the road. This was done because the most contrast is on the road, and the horizon is the lightest portion of the photograph.
4. Technical matters like the rule of thirds help the image.
5. The lines of the road, the lightening, and the horizon are very important and effective.
6. When one looks harder at the photograph, other elements are apparent, like trees and fences.
7. The photograph is slightly frightening.
8. All of the photos by this photographer are of clouds and weather, and are in black and white, like this one.
